Sporting activities play an important part in life at Blackthorns Sun Club. We are very proud of our sporting history and regularly represent the club at National and even International events.

The sports we offer are suitable for all age groups, and often youngsters will benefit from the guidance and expertise of the club's older members, who have learned their skills over the years. A dedicated Sports Officer ensures that activities run as smoothly as possible.

Sports and activities regularly played include:

• Miniten ~ a form of tennis using smaller courts
• Petanque ~ a variation of Boules
• Badminton
• Volleyball
• Table Tennis
• Crazy Golf
• Swimming

Miniten at Blackthorns is played by all ages and abilities

In addition, Blackthorns has been host of British Naturism's official Fun Run for the last few years. In 2005 we will again welcome runners (and walkers) for this family friendly race, together with BN regional Volleyball and table tennis contests.
