Membership of
Blackthorns is by "units". A unit can be a family, couple or individual.
Currently (year commencing October 2007) the Annual membership rate is £165 per unit. The
club year ends on 30th September, and although a full subscription is payable in
the first year irrespective of when you join, a reduction is made in the
New subscriptions may not always be immediately available, depending on current membership levels. If a unit is not available at the time of application, eligible prospective members will be placed on a waiting list. If you wish to be considered for membership or are undecided, the easiest way to find out more is to visit Pippin Wood and see Blackthorns for yourself. A location plan is available elsewhere on this site, but we do need advance notice that you are coming. Visits are normally only arranged for Saturdays or Sundays. You can contact us by e-mail, in writing or by telephone, but we do ask that you provide your full name and postal address in any communication.
