Being a naturist means being free to live in harmony with
nature, in a social clothes-free environment. It is about respecting others, not
for what they do or what they earn, but for who they are as a person.
Social nudity started in Germany in the first part of the last
century, after rebellions against the moral attitudes of the 19th century.
Naturism spread into other European countries after the First World War. More
recently, relaxed attitudes towards nudity have given people the opportunity to
try swimming and sunbathing in the nude.
Once they try it, most agree that naturism is a truly
liberating experience. Feeling the sun on your entire body or swimming in
complete freedom is one of life's true pleasures.
